Dear Parents,

We would like to welcome you to the 2018-19 school year! Each year, we are so proud of how much our students have grown and last year was another incredible year!

This year, our school will continue to work on the California Common Core State Standards across all content areas. Clear View has achieved great levels of success and will continue to strive for academic excellence. This year, our school and district will be focusing on building social and emotional learning into our daily curriculum. As a site, we will be moving to become a "Leader in Me" school! We are so excited to begin the journey and look forward to growing with students, families, and staff using Steven Covey's 7 Habits of Highly Successful People. Be on the lookout for workshops around this!

As we progress through the year, information will be posted around campus in our boxes, sent home via parent letters/flyers, school messages (telephone and email), Twitter@cvvoyagers, Instagram@clearviewelementary and our school website at under the schools tab. Make sure to check each of these sources for updates about our events throughout the year!

With the school year starting and new families joining our community, I wanted to provide a few reminders about our campus:

  • Please make sure your student(s) arrive on time each day, start time is 8:45 a.m.and gates open at 8:15 a.m. Students may not be dropped off before 8:15 a.m. unless they attend the YMCA. Campus gates close promptly at 8:45 a.m. All visitors must be off campus or checked in through the Raptor system in the main office.
  • Do not leave vehicles unattended in the drop-off loop
  • All visitors must check-in at our front office through the Raptor system and wear a visitor badge at all times.
  • Volunteers are welcome and appreciated, please see the office for more information regarding Volunteer Orientation.
  • Please pick up your students on time; for safety, all students still waiting 15 minutes after dismissal will be directed to wait in the office. Sign out and identification for release may be required.

Our goal is to collaborate and communicate with parents as effectively as possible, so please make sure to "opt in" to our school messenger services for information about upcoming events, activities, parent workshops, and opportunities to get involved. Another exciting year is upon us, and on behalf of the entire Clear View Staff and PTA we are ready to make this year our best year yet!
