Hello Clear View Families,
On behalf of the Clear View staff, I would like to warmly welcome you to the 2024-25 school year. Clear View is proud to be a Leader in Me school. We are
committed to continuing to provide an outstanding educational experience for all students - academically, social-emotionally, and relationally. In April 2023, Clear View was awarded lighthouse status and became a Leader in Me Lighthouse School; this distinction indicates our attainment of a well-rounded leadership model. Last spring, Clear View was one of 13 exemplar Leader in Me schools in San Diego with the opportunity to showcase the amazing work their students and staff are doing to visiting educators as part of the regional Leader in Me Symposium. We are proud of our accomplishments and will continue to strive to deepen our work with Leader in Me as we support the academic and social emotional growth of every Voyager.
Last year at Clear View there were many things to celebrate! Notably, our Voyager community saw a significant increase in volunteer participation. Our volunteers helped in classrooms and organized PTA events for our school community, just to name a few. Additionally, we improved our attendance rates and finished the year in the top 10 districtwide. We appreciate the commitment to academic excellence our Clear View community displayed; our school is a great place to be! We also successfully launched and developed a robust LEAD after school program, which we are excited to offer and continue to grow this school year.
As you know, maintaining open and clear communication between home and school is extremely important. We invite and encourage you to be informed and involved in your child’s education this year. A few ways to do this include joining the Clear View PTA and subscribing to our school blog at clearviewvoyagers.edublogs.org. Please consistently refer to our weekly blog post and emails which include information about upcoming events, activities, parent workshops, and opportunities to get involved.
