The Chula Vista Elementary School District (CVESD) is proud to announce that three of its schools have earned the Purple Star School designation for 2026 through the California Purple Star School Designation Program.

Congratulations to all Chula Vista Elementary School District (CVESD) students who participated in the 2025-26 Speech Contest. Students in 4th, 5th, 6th, and middle school throughout the district delivered speeches answering the prompt: “What Makes a Strong Community?”

The California School Dashboard and the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) provide important insights into student growth, achievement trends, and progress across all student groups, helping the district understand and respond to the needs of learners.

Open Enrollment for the 2026–27 school year at the Chula Vista Elementary School District (CVESD) is officially open for all new students. Families enrolling a new Transitional Kindergarten (TK) student, a Kindergarten student, or any new student entering CVESD can now begin the process at cvesd.org/enrollnow
